Wednesday, March 10: Board Meeting, Stammtisch and Program: "A Classic Hoosier-German Automotive Story: Harry Clayton Stutz and the Stutz Motor Company. " John L. Rupp, automotive historian, author, and lecturer, will speak on the history of the Stutz automobile in Indiana.
For nearly 15 years, he has researched locally based automobile companies, including German-American companies such as Stutz and Studebaker. He has worked with groups such as the Indiana State Museum
and the Classic Car Club of Indiana. John Rupp is the founder and director of the newly organized Center for the Study of Automotive History in Indianapolis.
As always, the program is held at the Athenaeum, 401 E. Michigan St., Indianapolis. It is in English--free of charge and open to the public.
